The Governmental Research Association (GRA) annually recognizes exceptional contributions to understanding and addressing the challenge of state and local government. At the 98th GRA Annual Conference held in New Orleans on April 29 – May 2, the winners of the 2012 competition were announced. Special attention goes to those recognized in multiple categories: the Civic Federation in Chicago, the Bureau of Governmental Research in New Orleans, and the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation.
