We are pleased to announce that the 2021 GRA Conference will be a virtual event taking place July 19-21. The event will be hosted by the Civic Federation and will generally follow the format of previous years with three half-days of conversation on topics ranging from government budgeting and finance during COVID to criminal justice reform to K-12 education post-pandemic, the digital divide and how GRA organizations can center equity in the work we do. New this year will be facilitated small group discussions on topics that will be of interest to a wide range of your staff, such as communications and development issues, as well as skill shares and policy topics. More information on registration and pricing will be available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Also this year, we will have the RETURN OF THE GRA AWARDS COMPETITION! Following the excellent feedback we received in the survey earlier this year, there will be some new awards and a revamped, easier to follow online entry form. Given there was not an awards competition last year, the 2021 competition will allow entries for work completed during calendar years 2019, 2020 and 2021. Applications for the awards competition will start as usual in April—be on the lookout for that announcement next month.
