GRA HITS FUNDRAISING GOAL!

GRA HITS FUNDRAISING GOAL!

Thanks to the generous support of eleven organizations, led by extraordinary challenge contributions from EdNC and the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, the GRA has hit our fundraising goal of $20,000 to fund a strategic planning and capacity building initiative! Our thanks go out to CGR, the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama, Bureau of Governmental Research, GFOA, Florida TaxWatch, Worcester Regional Research Bureau, Citizens Research Council of Michigan, Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council and the Civic Federation for their commitment to the future of GRA. These additional pledges of funding will allow the GRA to hire an outside expert facilitator to help us evaluate possible futures and structures for the organization, as well as how to support future GRA leadership.

If your organization would still like to contribute, it is not too late! Additionally, we understand that not all GRA organizations are currently in a position to contribute additional funding, so if you would like to participate in another way, consider serving on the working group that will be overseeing the initiative. The first organizational meeting to set the parameters for the project will be scheduled soon, so please let us know ASAP if you want to participate.

2022 GRA Conference: We are so pleased to announce that next summer’s GRA Conference will take place in Philadelphia! Thanks to Jeff Hornstein and the Economy League of Philadelphia for their willingness to host. We will be announcing the dates for the conference and additional information soon. As a reminder, videos and other materials from the 2021 Virtual Conference are available on the GRA website.
