GRA Conference & Annual Awards
The 2019 Annual GRA Conference takes place in two week in St. Petersburg, Fl. It is not too late to register!
This year’s award recipients were notified on July 8. They are invited to make a presentation at the St. Petersburg conference. We are excited to see each organization’s presentation.
Samuel Tyler, former president at the Boston Municipal Research Bureau, will be awarded the 2019 Gruenberg Award. He will be presented with this honor at the awards dinner on Tuesday, July 23. The keynote address on state government budgets that evening will be given by Tom Ross of the Volcker Alliance. Opening remarks that evening will be provided by Jeff Chapman of Pew Charitable Trusts on state fiscal issues heading into the 2020 elections.

The Progressive Policy Institute is looking for a researcher and writer on education reform. The organization is a center-left think tank in Washington D.C. seeking a writer/researcher to contribute to a project on K-12 education reform. Ideally, applicants should have several years’ experience in education or education policy and be conversant with charter schools, school governance, school choice, and related issues.
